-
Yes. We welcome new guests to Griffin Dental Health & Wellness and would be happy to help you get started. You can request an appointment online or call/text our office at (502) 473-1800

Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand your dental health, overall health, concerns, and goals. We’ll complete a thorough evaluation, which includes any necessary radiographs, an iTero 3D imaging and complete charting of your current dental health. We will explain what we see, answer your questions, and discuss any recommendations with you.
-
That’s okay. There is no lecture waiting for you. Whatever has kept you away, we’ll meet you where you are and focus on helping you move forward comfortably.
-
Gum disease can sometimes develop without obvious symptoms. Signs may include bleeding or tender gums, persistent, bad breath, gum recession, or loose teeth. During your exam, we’ll evaluate the health of your gums and discuss any findings and treatment recommendations with you.
General Dentistry
-
Yes, many of the treatments we provide every day can improve both the health and appearance of a smile. Depending on your individual needs and goals, this may include tooth-colored restorations, crowns and bridgework, Invisalign, porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, or Opalescence take-home whitening. Dr. Griffin will talk with you about what you’d like to change and help you understand the options that may be appropriate for you.
-
“Instant orthodontics” is a term sometimes used to describe changing the appearance of a smile without traditional orthodontic tooth movement. In certain situations, crowns, porcelain veneers, and/or bridgework may be used to address concerns such as gaps, uneven or crooked teeth, while also considering the health, function, and structure of the smile.
Dr. Griffin brings decades of experience and extensive training in cosmetic, laser and restorative dentistry to evaluating these cases. He will carefully assess your individual needs and explain whether this approach-or orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign-may be more appropriate for you.
-
Yes, we offer Opalescence take-home whitening with custom-made trays. This allows you to whiten your smile at home using professional-strength whitening gel and trays made specifically for your teeth. Dr. Griffin and our team can help determine whether whitening is appropriate for your smile and discuss what kind of results you can reasonably expect.
-
You don’t need to know which treatment you need before coming in. Tell us what you like about your smile, what you’d like to change, and what matters most to you. Dr. Griffin can evaluate your teeth, bite and overall dental health and explain the options that may help you reach your goals.
Cosmetic Dentistry
-
Griffin Dental Health & Wellness is in-network with Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier. We also welcome guests with other dental insurance plans and are happy to file claims on their behalf as a courtesy. Because benefits vary by plan, coverage and reimbursement are determined by your individual insurance policy.
-
That’s okay. Dental insurance is not required to receive care at Griffin Dental Health & Wellness. Our team can discuss treatment costs and available payment options with you so you can decide what works best for you.
-
We accept credit and debit cards, cash, checks. Financing options are also available through Cherry and Care Credit, allowing eligible guests to divide treatment costs into manageable payments.
Payment & Insurance
-
Please tell us. You don’t need to feel embarrassed or explain why. We’ll listen to your concerns, talk with you about what would help you feel more comfortable, and explain what to expect before we begin. You’re encouraged to ask questions, and we’ll take the time to help you feel at ease.
-
No, there is no judgment here. Whatever has brought you to us and however long it has been since your last dental visit, our focus is on helping you move forward. Just come as you are.
-
Yes, we offer oral conscious sedation for appropriate guests. A medication is used to help reduce anxiety while allowing you to remain responsive during your visit. Dr. Griffin will review your health history and medications to determine whether oral conscious sedation is appropriate for you. Transportation arrangements are required, and our team will provide specific instructions before your appointment.
-
We offer oral conscious sedation rather than nitrous oxide or IV sedation. If anxiety is a concern, talk with us about how you’re feeling. Dr. Griffin can discuss the options available in our office and determine what may be appropriate for you.

Solea is an advanced dental laser that can be used for many dental procedures, including treating cavities. In many cases, treatment can be completed with little to no discomfort and without the need for local anesthetic, which means no injection or lingering numbness. Every situation is different, and Dr. Griffin will determine whether Solea is appropriate for your treatement.

Yes. We offer Invisalign clear aligner treatment for appropriate guests. Dr. Griffin was one of the early dentists in the Louisville area to offer Invisalign and has many years of experience incorporating clear aligner treatment into comprehensive dental care. Invisalign gradually moves the teeth using a series of custom-made, removable clear aligners. Treatment may help address certain alignment and bite concerns while also supporting overall dental health and improving the appearance of your smile.
